Ages 5–7
A playful, energetic introduction built around age-appropriate games, coordination, focus, and key movement skills.

Ages 8–12
Foundational training, expanded technique, tactical development, footwork, blade control, and light bouting in a supportive setting.

Ages 13+
A dynamic class for all skill levels focused on solid fundamentals, tactical thinking, timing, and hands-on sparring.

Experienced fencers
Advanced technique, tactical strategy, bout analysis, intensive footwork, and regular sparring for committed competitors.

Current college fencers
Current local and national college fencers can use BFA’s $80-per-month Open Bouting Membership for access to open practice, the armory, rental equipment, and member pricing for private lessons and group classes. BFA supports college athletes but does not operate a college team or collegiate program.

Ages 8+
Twice-weekly BFA instruction at the Levite JCC: youth ages 8–12 train from 3:45–5:00 PM, followed by teens and adults ages 13+ from 5:15–7:00 PM. Equipment is provided for beginners. Registration is $250 monthly or $950 for four months.
